My phone Volume is acting weird

So, I don’t know why but every time I press the button to turn my volume up it goes all the way up. It started doing this recently tonight and I have no idea why or how it’s doing it. I’ve tried turning my phone off and on again to no avail. I even see the volume bar turn up. I have also tried looking this problem up but with no luck. I feel like I might be the only one who has this issue. My iPhone says it’s an iPhone Se (?). I took off the case and that’s what it said. Anyway, I hope I can get some help because I don’t know what is happening.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Double check to make sure there's no grit or grime in the volume button, lots can build up in there an cause it to stick. It should make a nice clean click feeling when you press it

have you spilled any sticky liquid on it? it honestly sounds like something its jamming the button.

or maybe part of the case is jutted out and jamming the button down?

hello Belle,

you probably have a broken switch inside the case. Maybe because of wetness or sand from the beach. Temporarily, you can change the volume in the "control center" but the component responsible for changing the volume (flexible tape with several switches and sensors) will have to be replaced sometime. A new tape costs $ 0.90, while a replacement - if you can't do it yourself, check in your area.
