Actually from the searching around I did. I found out that repeated sloppy water exposure were the common tigger for ghost touch. The glue on the active 2 isn’t the best, some watch even open by themselves because of heat and normal use. Soppy water seems to more easy get to and damage the screen digitizer. If you wear a case over the watch it kill it faster because the humidity is getting trap and end up going insides the watch.

Can this be fixed? I noticed it started after high humidity and having a screen protector over it

Hi gary & chris,

you might want to check if the display connector sits properly on the motherboard or see if there is any dirt or remnants of water inside the watch which may affect the touch function of the display.

See this back cover guide to get inside. The top connector in the last image is the display.

Also you can read this thread (Samsung forum) on water damage on Galaxy watches for more background information.

If still under warranty from Samsung you may be eligible for a replacement or repair.

From the « research » I did (basically I read through a lot of other people that the issue wasn’t fixable by software). I found out that repeated sloppy water exposure were the common tigger for ghost touch. The glue on the active 2 isn’t the best, some watch even open by themselves because of heat and normal use. Soppy water seems to more easy get to and damage the screen digitizer. If you wear a case over the watch it kill it faster because the humidity is getting trap and end up going insides the watch
