Wiring diagram and colors for Cobra 29 LX Max microphone.

All of the wires came unsoldered from the plug on my microphone for my Cobra 29 LX Max. When I take the microphone apart, it appears the two extra wires are for:

Yellow = Extra microphone for the phone audio.

Green = Possibly data for the three buttons on the front. Such as Repeat, Report and Bluetooth.

From watching videos online, I can probably figure out the other four, but I’m not sure how to test for the extra Mic and Bluetooth on the radio side. Not sure which pins they go do. The only pin I’m sure about at the moment is ground is pin #1 as it’s the only one that didn’t get broken off.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I found my multimeter and watched several videos. I figured it out. This is according to the pin numbers on the plug for the microphone.

Pin 1 = Ground = No shielding

Pin 2 = Audio = Black

Pin 3 = Transmit = Red

Pin 4 = Receive = Blue

Pin 5 = Blue Tooth = Green

Pin 6 = 2nd Microphone = Yellow

Also note, If audio only works when you turn on Talk Back, then the Receive wire is never making connection to ground when the key is depressed. The audio is MUCH louder when the receive wire is connected properly.
