Why have buttons and bluetooth stopped working?

The only time the headphone lights will illuminate is when the headphones are connected to the charger and the lights turn on to indicate the charge status.

Once unplugged from the charger, the headphones will not power on and the lights do not illuminate in response to the power button being pressed. The headphones are not visible to any nearby bluetooth devices and bluetooth connectivity is unavailable using paired devices.

The headphones appear to work when connected with an AUX cable but I have not been able to get sound when connected to USB-C-only devices using an AUX/USB-C adapter.

I have also tried different methods of resetting the headphones and had no success.

This happened all of a sudden and out of the blue considering they are only a couple of years old and are in great condition.

I read somewhere that there is a bluetooth component that can sometimes get disconnected and that it is not hard to fix. If this is at all accurate then I would like to see instructions for how to do this but really any support offered in relation to this issue will be much appreciated. Thank you!

I really wanna help you, I think the speakers may be burnt out and that the bluetooth and buttons are all connected based off of the speakers, I may be wrong, but it would explain why you would not be able to get sound when connected to USB-C-only devices using an AUX/USB-C adapter. Since they are only a couple of years old, a sliced wire up inside the headphones is all it will take to have it stop working, but since the lights will illuminate is when the headphones are connected to the charger, there is hope that its not completely dead. I recommend taking it apart, and looking over the wiring. tutorial on how to take it apart: https://youtu.be/YbloxFsFo1M

Here’s what it looks like completely dismantle:
