Internal Hard Drive deleted / not recognized

After erasing my Macintosh HD drive and reinstalling Big Sur, The OS went through the normal startup process but got stuck on Create Computer Account. After force shutting it down and opening recovery mode, somehow my macintosh hd and data, not mac hd - data got deleted. Is there anything I can do besides taking it to Apple

I’m confused! Why did you erase your drive, doing that got rid of your stuff. Do you have a backup? TimeMachine.

Sadly there is nothing you or Apple can do to recover your files.

Unlike the older HFS+ file system used in Sierra and older based systems the newer systems use APFS file system which is designed to be secure! So recovery is just not possible when you erase or reformat the drive.
