Is an iPhone 1st Gen Logic Boad compatible with the iPad?

My iPad's logic board broke and I want to know if I can use the working logic board from an old iPhone I have with a broken screen. Thanks!

Seeing as how the iPad seems to be nothing more than an iPod touch that you can't put in your pocket, you should be able to use an iPod touch board....but the iPhone has too much functionality to be compatible.

Hilarious! I'm watching Steve's announcement now, and I'm happy to realize I've already got a futuristic super-compact iPad in my pocket!

What a disappointment! :-( Will someone please tell Steve that landscape mode and basic iLife functionality are not new features?

And that no flash or multitasking=death

Personally, I am relieved to see that Flash is still absent. :)

That was sarcasm right?

Oh flash. You are annoying because you are closed source and have very poor performance on mac products, but man, I need you to fill my Hulu addiction.

If you're talking to me rab777, nope, no sarcasm. I truly am grateful for no Flash. I hates it beyond all web things- yes, even more than <marquee> and <blink>.
