Powers on but no signal

Hi,

I have tried the guide about holding down the power button, got all the relevant beeps, but still there is no picture at all.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what the problem could be.

Are you sure that your display (TV or w/e) and the output of the PS3 are compatible? IE, can you your TV only do 720p while the PS3 is trying to send a 1080p signal?

Hi,

The tele is compatible as have played it on it before.

Also, no, it hasn't happened before and it has worked before

Do you have a spare cable (HDMI?) to test? Might as well start at the cheap and easy fixes!
