Screw driven into the battery through hole near connectors 5 and 6.
Hello!
I have just bought a broken iPhone off Ebay that didn't charge, that I was going to fix up and use. I have recognized the problem, though I need some suggestions to fix it.
Basically, it had already been opened, and only one thing had changed. One of the main logic board screws had been taken out, and put into the little hole near the #5 and #6 connectors, which of course, is not actually a screw hole, but instead a hole that goes straight through to the battery, which I believe has been punctured, making the phone, even now, presumably a week or two after it was punctured, quite hot. In fact, I would say the person who did it was lucky they didn't have the phone catch on fire while they were doing it, or possibly even in the plane that flew it to my city.
Anyway, I have no idea how to get it out. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Is this a good question?

Correction: The phone is no longer hot. I am not sure why it was hot when I was writing this, maybe it was because it was just after I had been trying to unscrew it.
Thanks!

I removed it and it had caused damage to the logic board. I shall sell it on and try again.
Thanks Luke and pollytintop!
