Sound to my iPod

The sound on my iPod seems to be intermittent in either ear, I connect it to my car and it only comes out of some speakers, and sometimes no sound at all, If I twist the wires around then there is sound, I have tried different headphones but problem still exists.

It sounds like you need to replace the headphone jack. The good news is that this is an easy repair!

You will need either the 30 GB or the 60/80 GB jack, depending on which capacity your iPod is.
