I have an iPod touch and i've locked it.

Basically i have a iPod touch and I've locked it ! It's been locked for ages and it's really annoying me because i don't know what to do. I don't care about losing my files because i have saved them to my computer,i just want it unlocked. Please can you leave a comment showing anything you know about iPod and unlocking them.The help is very much appreciated.my screen shows my front screen picture and just a red bar at the top sayingiPod is disables and then underneath it says try again in 38 minutes. HELPPP!!

livvy, I would be to put your iPod in DFU and restore, again YOU WILL LOSE all data since the last backup.

DFU Mode

Connect your iPod to your computer

Turn your iPod Off

Press and hold the power button for 3 Seconds

While continuing to hold the Power button, press the home button as well for 10 seconds

While holding down the home button, release the power button for another 10 seconds

iTunes should now detect the iPod in recovery mode, press OK, and restore your iPod. you may now release the buttons. If you have not reached this point, then you have not entered DFU Mode DFU Mode Good Luck and I hope this will help.
