Why does my laptop freeze after I turn it on

My Asus laptop model is ATHEROS/AR5B125 and when I turn it on it shows the logos and then it just freezes, how do I fix it

Two things to try:

* Can you get into the BIOS? Hold down <F2> key and turn power on. Hold untill BIOS screen appears. Any luck?

* Try booting off a USB flash drive with the Windows install, if you have one.

It may be starting to boot loop, or can’t access the boot sector of the hdd/ssd/boot medium, and it doesn’t show an error. Try reinstalling windows, if you can afford the license, if not, access the BIOS and run tests on your drives. Happy fixing! TAG2YT
