My phone fell down, screen didn't break, but it won't turn on

My phone fell from the second floor but the screen didn't break. It has a small crack in the side plastic. Apparently it doesn't turn on, but when I connect the charger it vibrates as if it were charging. When I press the power button, it vibrates. I will tear it down to visually check for any issues, any tips?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Sounds like the phone is still powering on but the display isn’t functioning anymore. If you feel confident enough in your abilities, you could try to open up the device and see if any of the connectors may have been unplugged by the drop, or if the actual screen and display is damaged and would need to be replaced.

If you’re able to get the phone open, attach some photos of the insides of the device so we might be able to see if anything looks out of place.

I was able to check the connectors, didn't see anything broken, put it together again and it's the same thing. When I connect the phone to my windows laptop it shows as a "unspecified device" and I can't access the memory. Is there any way to get access to my data through my computer? I would be specially interested in recovering my whatsapp chat history. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
