Why does my moto g7 power have to charge at an angle to be able to cha

My moto g7 power charger port is loose so now I have to hold the charger at an angle so it can charge properly and I dont want to sit there for an hour waiting for it to charge

Hi,

As you said, the charge port is loose from the board. It may be easier to replace the charge port board than to reconnect the charge port as it is a smd (surface mount device) type component and soldering these takes a bit of practice to get it right

Here’s a video that shows how to replace the charge port board in the phone.

Replacement boards (supplier example only) are available online. Just search for Moto G7 Power charge port board to find suppliers that suit you best.

If doing this yourself seems too daunting, contact a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote.
