I noticed after the wash cycle ends that the clothes were kind of still wet…i put on drain and spin…fine…but then what i noticed is that there is water dripping onto the clothes from where the detergent trays are located…I removed the trays and it seems as though water is coming from the left side….the water appears clear and not soapy or dirty….but there was a slight grit film in and on the left tray….

This can be caused by low water pressure. The water inlet value will leak if there is not enough pressure to keep the valves closed. It can also be caused by a failing water inlet valve.

Ok I will check the inlet valves ... I know water pressure is fine in the house... thank you.
i turned the cold water supply off and it stopped dripping...so does that mean its the inlet valve???
@kpsluder Remove the hose from the back on your machine and clean the wire mesh screen of any debris. Once it is clear, if there is still still leaking, the most likely cause will be the water inlet valve.
