Pressure/books/clamps on screen replacement to help cure adhesive?

In general, when I've done screen replacements on phones I've placed a book or books on top of the screen for hours in order to help the adhesive make a strong bond. What is the recommended practice for this, with regard to force and length of time, or do you not do this at all? I do not want to apply too much pressure and damage the screen replacement, or too little and have the screen not be flush against the chassis.

Thanks!

I have used clamps in the past they work excellent. I use a heat pad and clamp combo on pixels, ipads and many other devices. Qianli clamps are my go to, they are compact and easily adjustable. I think it's important to heat up the device, no more so than when ur trying to remove the adhesive then clamp away and leave for about 10min. books and other flat objects with adequate weight work as well. Use what u have until u get what u need for a proper set.
