Hi @bsuther ,

Not a video but here’s the maintenance and service guide for the laptop.

Go to p.50 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the Power button board.

Replacement boards are available online. Just search for 749650-001 to get results for suppliers.

Hi @bsuther ,

You access by removing the keyboard and the top cover then flipping the top cover over.

Just follow the guide.

The steps are there on p.50.

Step 4, 5 & 6 tell you which page to go to in the manual to see how to do the procedure for each step then it shows how to remove the power button board. There are pictures.

Re-assemble in the reverse order.

You can't access from the back (bottom) of the laptop as the motherboard is mounted on the base and you would have to remove it first to get to the power button board. The motherboard has to be accessed the same way by removing the top cover as that side has the screwheads for the screws holding the motherboard in position.

Access to everything is by removing the keyboard and top cover
