Dkaci is right. That screw is responsible for connecting the wi-fi antenna which is the black piece in that picture. Chances are that will fix your issue.

The ring under the screw is missing.

How can i fix this?

Somehow you need to ground that screw so that it touches the back of the mid-plate.

Hello,

Possible solution:

1) very top middle on the back of the iphone, is a very long screw. This screw is the ground for the Wifi, etc. Insure the metal plate is installed, and that the little metal piece is still on the plate. Install the screw until you feel tension.

2) Insure you have not broken the main board at this top screw area, insure there is no breaks in the silver metal tab on the black. Insure you have the second longest screw in the WHOLE iphone installed at this top location.

Hope this helps,

The ring that is missing is the problem. Try to find the cover on eBay. Etech parts might have it too.

Hey bud, this is very common, yet very easy to fix, what your going to have to do is, take apart the screen (lcd) , digitizer (glass) and make sure that the frame of the completed lcd + digitizer assembly is rebuild and when you go back to re install it, make sure that NO METAL from the rebuilt lcd + digi frame is touching or making any contact with the bottom portion of the phone (phone assembly, motherboard, dock connector and all that jazz, i suggest using electrictions / black electrical tape, and applying it around the completed screen assembly, using a razor blade cut off any extra or un-needed strips of the tape, double check that when you close everything back up, that all connections are solid and that your new custom work is legit and now, once exposed metal parts that once touched other parts of the bottom portion of the phone or the bezel are protected by the electrical tape. BOOM! your golden, boot the phone up and you will have restored and improved wifi + cell data signal. hope this helps you out mate, -Shaun Natale-

Using electrical tape on the front panel will not help. It will cause more trouble for people than it's worth and is not the solution for this answer. The only part I agree with is the double checking of connections :-)
