when I turn on my xbox it let won’t me play my games. it wants me to log on to internet which I have never done I just want to play my games and it won’t let me

I still have an Xbox 360 i’ve never used it to play games just watch YouTube or Netflix but if you do have Xbox live (which you need to play most games, watch YouTube, Netflix etc) you will need to hook it up to internet via Ethernet cable or wireless connection once you have all of it hooked up Xbox live should be running and you should be ready to go. Since the Xbox 360 is pretty old I usually encounter problems with connecting to internet (probably because everything is outdated) so make sure you check for correct pass words and keep trying again if you encounter this problem and you can also disconnect and re connect to get it working almost first or second try! hoped this helps ^-^

I also majorly forgot to add this back when I wrote this but- Your gonna need a wifi adapter for wireless connection.. If you already have one you should be set if not you can look for one on amazon or get one at Walmart hope this helps

It says “your console can’t connect to xbox Live.do you want to exit this session and test your network connection? if you are playing a game , you will lose any unsaved progress.” then I have to answer yes or no. when I answer yes It tells me '‘available networks wired network or wireless network’ I’ve never been hooked up to the internet. when I answer no it brings me to xbox live if I answer yes or no it does the same thing. it says open tray, I do that and then it says open tray again. and I am stuck I’ve tried every thing and nothing changes. I just want to play my games I have on disk! as I said I’ve never been hooked up to the internet. I don’t know how to fix it. can you help? thank you.
