replaced battery and screen will not turn on

i replaced the battery in an iPad Pro 9.7” A1673 and the screen will not turn on. i have not damaged or broken anything. I need help please.

but it powers up my computer detects it and tells me to allow on ipad

Hello there,

Open it up again, disconnected the battery first and the screen after. Have a look around the screen connector, it's possible you knocked a component off the board. If you can't see anything obviously out of place or something that looks weird, connect the screen again, make sure it's making a good connection and plug the battery back in. If there's still no picture on the screen it's possible you either knocked a component off, blew a filter or damaged the screen. Shine a bright light at the screen and see if you can see an apple logo or something, it could be that the backlight is gone. If it still doesn't work at this point I'd first bring it to a repair shop to see if there's any pry damage. I wouldn't go buying a screen because it's 200£ and it could be a board damage.
