there is a little plastic flipper on the rear case at the top of the sim tray slot opening, it's about 5mm long, that has a plastic edge that sits behind the insertion hole, and another plastic edge that sits down into the case. Not all cases come supplied with one.. you'll need to take the old one out of your old case. The new case may not have a drill hole but using a hot pin to make a starter hole or a good amount of pressure is usually enough so that you can insert the screw.

ps, you should only need to remove the display to manually remove your sim tray and put the flipper in. just make sure the phone is off before attempting any repairs.
