Anybody successfully clean facial ID?

Getting facial id error prior to starting cracked screen fix. Started screen repair and the inside of the phone is really dirty - seems like it went thru the clothes washing and dryer machine. Assuming the sensor cables are good, anybody successfully clean the facial sensor to get it back working?

Assuming maybe dipping it in IPA (iso-propyl alcohol) will maybe help? See photo.

Cleaning and reassembling seems like your only option?

Personally i would not dip it in any liquid even IPA.

Use compressed air to get rid of the most dust and dirt. Then wipe it with a clean soft cloth and IPA.
