Is there a pressure sensor inside?

Hi,

I just replaced my fan and put everything back together but now, each time I move it just from 2mm it shut itself down.

i've opened it again, and I notice that it will not do it only if I press the heatsink.

since every screw is correctly screwed, I can't see what to do.

is there pressure sensors? and if yes, where?

thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Did you replace the thermal paste between the heat sink and the processor? I'm not certain this would cause the computer to shut down as you describe, but if you did not replace the paste take a look at this guide.

If the thermal paste was replaced perhaps you are shifting a connector slightly when applying pressure to the heat sink. Double check your connectors. I'm not aware of any pressure sensors on the logic board. I hope this helps.

Hi, rhank you for anwsering, but unfortunaly no, all connector are tightly secured.

however, i've dissasembled everything and then put back everything together and it worked!

until I took him with me on a 2km trip in my backpack.

i've done the same thing again, and it's working again.

so it must be some screw that are not well screwed. unfortunatly they seems to be moving as I handle the mac.

either there is a "contact/pressure" detector wich shut down the mac or one of the board is moving and touching something it shouldn't touch.
