Where do these two peices go?

Doing a screen replacement and these fell out:

I have looked at every guide and pic and have not found out either...

[EDIT] Just figured out the rubber thing goes where the display cable bend over the logic board... now for the connector, gold, clip thingy....

indeed you are right. every picture of the motherboard shows it still attached. It looks like maybe thermal compound that was bonding it. Didn't have any so I used the tiniest piece of electrical tape to put it in position before reassembly. Everything works great so far!

The gold clip attaches to logic board at top back of board at the location of the long screw at the top of logic board. I think.

The black rubber goes along the edge of the logic board to protect the digitizer and lcd flex. top left edge.

The gold clip should go beneath the long thin screw at the highest point of the phone, about centre.
