How do I know which T-Con board replacement to buy?

My TV has no picture but Ambilight and sound are working fine, I’ll be doing the flashlight test later tonight when it’s dark since it’s currently 1PM and evidently very bright and determine whether it’s the T-con board or not by figuring out if the backlight itself works at all. My question is, how do I know which T-con board to buy? Rather, how do I know which T-con board is compatible with my TV?
