Samsung C32HG7OQQ Monitor. Can it be repaired?

Good morning. I have a Samsung model C32HG7oQQ curved monitor. kid hit it with a tennis ball and I now have a screen that is 3/4 color lines and a couple of 2 inch black lines down one side. Does anyone know if these monitors can be repaired. $1200.00 is a lot of money to replace it. Thank you for any help you can give me. Cheers

Hi @shamel2813 ,

Sounds as though the panel has been cracked.

Post a close up image of the screen back here so this can be verified. Here’s how to do this on ifixit Adding images to an existing question

If the screen has been cracked then it cannot be repaired. It has to be replaced.

Open the monitor so that access to the back of the QLED screen panel is possible. The make and model number of the panel should be found on the back of the panel and you can try using this information to see if there are any replacement panels available online.

Never done a curved screen before so cannot advise about removal, although in your case if it is broken this won’t matter so much, but with installing the replacement panel (if you can find one) you may have to be very careful that you don’t damage it during the installation process by flexing it too much.
