touch screen wont respond , has a new digitizer but no good

I bought an ipod touch 3rd gen on ebay and the touch screen wont work so i get a new one and replace it and nothing help please

yes it connect to itunes

i updated it

put apps on it works normally except the touch screen

Same problem here, I have tried with 4 or 5 of them, did an restore as the wifi was greyed out and nothing after that any idea guys ?

you cleaned the ipod if it was water damaged? follow our Electronics Water Damage guide for some great advice. i'd pay attention to the digitiser connection on logicboard
