Screen turn off when touched on right middle

When I touch the right middle of my ipad it reboots or will not start at all. I am unsure what to do and have not taken it apart yet as I would like an idea of what to look for first. Sometimes it will just flash white for a bit until I push in the middle on the right side and it will stop. As it site right now I have to push in the middle right side for it to even boot, once removing pressure it turns off.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I would think that the only thing to do is open it up and look at how it is inside, the problem you explained would make me think of most likely connector issues

hello Adam,

the right side is taken by the motherboard in this model. Has iPad fallen or been bent? Maybe it was under repair some time ago? The right center is occupied by the CPU, RAM, NAND, main power correction coils and the screw that tightens the motherboard to the battery. It happens that someone forgets about it. The video ports are in the lower right corner so I would rule out this issue. However, you should check. The only way is - unfortunately - to take the screen off (be careful, the screen often breaks) and organoleptic check :-)
