Locating a Damaged SMD Component

Hi

Im repairing my a1278 logicboard due to water damaged. Ive found out that the airport card and bluetooth card module were not working. Ive replaced both and only the bluetooth works.

The laptop works ok except keyboard backlight, ethernet port and airport. If I can locate what's the name of this IC, on picture below, I can go futher. I do have a schematic manual of the a1278 but I'm trying to get used to it. See picture:

I have all the tools to repair liquid spills but this IC I need to replace. Ive tried a digital camera but the number is not clear.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I have one here that says LDPR on the top line and underneath it says 060I.

I recommend using a heat pump to replace this chip. I hope you have flux as well. You might need to bring the temperature up to 350C to get the component off.

my problem is in the same area. however the chip below it may be the culprit as it gets hot! ive also noticed in place of where you are pointing in the picture the component below is a small black resistor where my board has a fat silver rectangle with black on top and some writing that is burnt off. could the ic you are replacing have anything to do with that chip getting to hot?

i need to know what this chip is and if i can buy it somewhere to replace.
