Touchpad won’t work

Running a brand new E410M, used a handful of times. Suddenly the touchpad is disabled.

Tried the whole Fn + F5 and every other version of the function buttons, nothing. Managed to navigate to the touchpad settings, can see the touchpad has been turned off, but can’t select the button to turn it back on. What am I meant to do here?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi,

Try updating the ATK package drivers and the Smart Gesture drivers and check if that resolves the problem. Be sure to do the ATK Package drivers first before the Smart Gesture.

Here’s a link that may be of some help. See the Notes: near the top of the page regarding installation. Also don’t be tempted to update all the drivers listed as if there are problems you don’t know which one may have caused it.

If the updated ATK package drivers won’t install, try uninstalling the existing ones first and then try again. Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features to find them

Use a USB mouse to navigate through he laptop.
