Why isn't my touch working after screen replacement?

Hi all, just replaced iPhone SE screen. Display etc working fine but the touch connector on the motherboard doesn’t make a visible click when I press it in and it no touch works. If I hold down the connector, I can very rarely get a touch response.

You probably have a defective screen. If you ordered it from Amazon, eBay, Craigslist, Wish, or AliExpress they typically don’t have any quality control and sometimes not even a warranty. Contact who you bought the screen from and see what their return and warranty policy is. If you got it from ifixit they do offer a warranty. Just make sure you take pictures of the part, cables, and connectors before you send it back for your records. Some suppliers that offer warranties sometimes try to wiggle their way out of it.
