@mbp2016 those Pogo pins are just grounding the logic board since they join metal case and logic board.

Any idea why use 10 of them?

It'll provide ground to needed parts as well as protect from ESD. Most likely it uses 10 to maintain a symmetric placement of the board and yet ensure proper ground to all areas.

I remember the current leakage i could feel by touching my laptop (not this one, 2 laptops prior to this one) while charging it overseas on 220v with the original Apple charger and OEM plug adapter for the charger to fit the outlets there.

Later I learned it was a ground issue.

I spoke to a technician in the apple store that I have known for years, he told me that they are simply connectors to discharge electrostatic electricity from the motherboard.
