Code 43 NVIDIA Graphics Card 1660 ti Base Model Razer Blade 15" (Late

Good day All,

I apologize for selecting the 2018 model, I did not see the model I have listed. I have, as caption, the base model Razer Blade 15 Product No. RZ09-03009E76 and have recently started gaming on this laptop. I bought it in November 2019 and have been using it to run software for school. I decided to check the device manager on Friday 20th November. 2020 and noticed the yellow triangle alert on the NVIDIA Geforce 1660 ti and saw it said "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".

After much research online, I did a few things but it has not solved the problem and I still have the code 43 showing.

Here is what I did:

1) I updated the driver using the default online updater by searching automatically, didn't work

2) I reset the laptop to default using recovery and removed all files on my laptop and reinstalled windows, didn't work

3) I used DDU and went into safe mode and removed the driver and installed the latest one, version 27.21.14.5730. Still did not work.

4) I reset the laptop again and turned off windows update, still no luck

5) Checked razer's website for updates on BIOS & Firmware and used the exe installer and was told it has the latest updates

Here is the events on the device manager:

Any advice on how I may resolve this issue? I don't think it should be a hardware issue as I have only used it for gaming until 2 weeks ago. All I did was web browsing, ran matlab, standard emailing etc.

Thank you in advance for your assistance

Code 43 is usually hardware issue, especially after your troubleshooting did not uncover any software problems.

This is one of those “if you need to ask, you can’t fix it” kind of repair, go find a reputable repair shop or customer service if the warranty still exists.
