does not start after logic board change
I try to fix a dead Macbook Air retina late 2018 for a friend after a “beer” accident…
I have done a first test with a new IO board & fan, new connectors, a new logic board (but without new touch Id) => it was starting well but was locked… keyboard was ok, and touchpad was failed…
I have done a second test : I changed the touch pad and used a second new logic board (with its touch id).. but this time it does not boot anymore.. no start, no fan running
I have tried to reset SMC, no change. I have tried with no battery and external power, but no start.
The logic board seems to be well powered, white led (closed to battery connector) is on when external power is there or battery connected, and I can reset it with the yelow switch. Trackball and IO bord are new… but I suspect keyboard… could it stop boot sequence ?
Logic board seems to be ok, any idea that could prevent correct boot ?
Is this a good question?
