My battery light stays green and battery says charged

Battery is currently at 97% and will not charge further

batter status says “battery is charged"

Charger light is staying green

Have tried SMC reset with no results, cleaned charger pins on charger and MacBook, and tried multiple outlets.

I’ve seen this several times on this model. It will charge to 96-99% and stop. You can try recalibrating it, or just live with the 97%.

I haven't let it drop below the current 97% because I'm worried it will just discharge entirely and never hold a charge again, but maybe I'll try letting it get to 90 and seeing what happens
