This controller fixes many of the design flaws found on the Model 1537/1697 controllers and is much more reliable. This controller has been replaced with the improved Model 1914 controller.

The one with the radio chip.

By the way, are you sure it’s actually the controller is broken?

Which one has the radio chip though? I don’t have enough know how to identify the radio chip. Is it the board with the joysticks or the one with the buttons?

I’m fairly confident it is the controller. Could not pair the controller to any system, but an identical model was able to pair to both.

Radio chip usually comes with a shield. The other board doesn't even come with any significant chips.
