Can't fix iPod Classic Red X

I've tried this about 30 times to no avail. What do I do now? I'm smacking it as hard as I F-ing can!

If this didn't fix your problem then your HD is bad and needs to be replaced.

The fix is really only a fix if your drive is stuck, not if it went to HDD heaven ;-) Replace the drive like Majesty suggested....
