How can I remove my media from a completely trashed Xioami Note4

My Xioami note 4 got completely beaten up years ago and I’m currently trying to find a way to access the photos and other media on it. It will not turn on or charge and is currently in 2 pieces. Is there a way to access the memory and retrieve those photos? Or am I out of luck?
