Swap late 2007 logic board to Unibody Aluminium

I have a late 2007 2.2Ghz White Macbook bought in jan 2008.

Last summer the right palmrest cracked closely to the frame; the left one did the same recently.

I've found an Aluminium sample with broken logic board, would it be possible to swap my working board to it?

I woudln't have to worry anymore about plastic damage :)

Sorry but the aluminum Unibody Macbook case has a different form factor than the 1181 white macbook so the 1181 logic board wont fit inside the unibody.

+ lemerise is correct here. To begin with the 2 logic boards have holes in them in different places for mounting the heatsink and logic board. The list of other differences goes on....
