Dryer stopping mid-cycle and making a screeching noise?

The dryer of my 2004 Maytag stackable unit stops mid-cycle and makes a screeching sound when I try to re-start it. This happens during the second load. It is likely overheating. I just got the lint cleaned out of the entire interior and around the motor. I was told that it could take more than a month to find a motor due to the overall shortage of replacement parts. Where can I order a new motor?

@klaurent what exact model number is your combo? the screeching sound could be a bad bearing, bad brake or a bad belt

Maytag washer/dryer model no. LSE7806ACE.

The dryer won’t re-start for a while presumably so it can cool down.
