Guide to replacing glass lens on screen

Hi, I’m looking for a bit of help. I have two G7 powers and I have cracked the glass lens on both.

I’ve just invested in new cases and screen protectors to stop this happening again.

The screens themselves are fine, however, the glass lens is broken. I’ve found cheap parts but can’t seem to find a guide to replace the glass only.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Glass only repairs can be quite risky despite numerous guides being available on youtube but for the most part I see people use heat and some sort of fine copper wire to slice through the adhesive. You might be able to use something like playing cards or business cards as a substitute to the fine wire. Most reputable repair shops will just replace the whole assembly because it’s easier and less time consuming. You can order new screens for $20 each from Injured Gadgets which is one of the top suppliers we use. https://www.injuredgadgets.com/motorola/...
