This is a backlight problem on the logic board. The 6s plus has two backlight driver IC’s One of them has failed causing the problem you are having.

You will need to replace the faulty IC by a reputable repairer.

As for the backlight issue switching sides, different screen makers/refurbishers may apply different backlights which may have the connections reversed.

@refectio I didn’t think of that Minho. So this could be another faulty component on the backlight circuit. Like filter of diode? You learn something every day.

Thanks, but what now? Is diode?filter? Do i need to change this or what? I will go today to test one display to my local shop and will give and update if its the screen or like you say myb filter or diode...

And where are those located on motherboard? Thanks

I was in my local shop and they try screen on his screen is also on left site black,on my screen is also left site and on my ORGINAL screen is right site...how?why? What now?

One of the two backlight circuits, as Chris has already mentioned, is damaged. That's why the screen is dark on one side but not the other. It could be a diode, filter or IC (or all of them, each case is different). This is a very common issue on the 6S series and is usually caused by connecting a screen while the battery is still connected to the logic board. This can only be repaired via microsoldering and is not a DIY repair.

As for the darkness occurring on different sides, this is strictly related to the screen and is not something of concern. A replacement screen is a multi-layer sandwich, one of the layers being the actual backlight. Different backlight manufacturers use different configurations, for example the left side being controlled by driver 1 or driver 2. It makes no difference when both backlight drivers are working properly.

If it happened with two displays then most likely it’s a board issue. But I’m confused as to why it switched sides…

What can be? Diode? Backlight filter? Or what?

The backlight is working so I don’t think it is a board issue, because all of the LEDs in the matrix would be off if that were the case. Are you able to test your new display assembly on a different iPhone 6S?

The touch working,camera and everything...

The digitizer and front-facing camera flex are two separate components, so it makes sense that they may still function fine.
