Is there an app that lets you control your iPhone?

my home power button is broken so i cant turn off my iphone's screen, i put the screen to go off after a min but it tends to freeze ALOT. When i freezes, it wont work for hrs. can this be a flex cable problem? my vibrating switch doesnt work right either, ive restored it and everything. is there an app that would let me turn off the screen like the power button would? should i get a new flex cable for the switch/headphones/power? Also, when it freezes, it usually freezes when the screen has gone dim, and it always goes straight to the home screen and freezes, and the only time it will come back is either when the battery is dead, or if i get lucky. it wont get text when its frozen or phone calls. and when it freezes, and i get lucky for it to turn on, it will start working straight to the lock screen. i have a 3gs and its all up to date, it isnt jail broken, so what can be the problem? please help!!

I would change the headphone jack/vibrate/power flex, how do you turn the phone on when it freezes?? Next I'd look at installing a new battery..there are plenty of people that have had problems with a new battery causing reboots etc in 3GS phones...which seems to be a software incompatibility. 616-0435 is the APN most people say has least problems but this doesn't mean all are the same (Anyone can stamp a number!) Freezes/crashes etc are usually a battery dying but can also be power management. try the battery and headphone first and see how it goes. The guides are under the phone photo to the right.

i just turn it on by plugging it into power, into the charger and let it turn on itself since i cant use the power button. and i was thinking of doing that but im worried about there being more to it, what if the motherboard is messed up ya kno?
