My old fridge is working fine, but the gasket is torn and the magnetic strip keeps coming out. I’ve discovered that the replacement gasket is part number 215608923, but it’s discontinued and seems to be out of stock everywhere. I don’t even know where to start to find out if someone is manufacturing a replacement for it.
Anyone know anything about fridge gaskets and their intercompatibility?

What is the model number of the refrigerator?
Search online at places such as searspartsdirect.com, partselect.com, appliancepartspros.com and repairclinic.com for your model number fridge parts.
A lot of the time they specify an alternative part or part number if the part is no longer available.
Just a thought

Oh, weird, I thought I had entered the model number into my original question. It’s a Frigidaire FRT21INGJB1
Anyway, partselect says it’s been replaced by part number 5303272393, so I guess that’s what I needed! Thanks!
