What will happen if a laser marks the wireless charging pad?

I recently bought a laser marking machine to replace back glass on iPhones, and it also has the ability to engrave icons and letters. The machine skips over the charging pad while it is burning the adhesive off during the back glass removal, probably because there is no permanent adhesive on the charging pad itself. I was wondering if any of you folks that already have machines know if it is safe to mark glass on top of the charging pad? I can conduct my own test if needed, but I wanted to see if any of you had experience with this and could provide me with an answer. Thanks

I'm not sure about this but perhaps it's to prevent burning the wireless charging pad? Since it literally melts the paint over the glass (if I'm not wrong)
