How do I replace only the home button and not the ribbon?

My question is how do you replace just the home button and not the ribbon. Say I have a white iphone 4, but want to make my home button black how would I do this and is it fairly easy?? Thanks

It's just to replace it.

You have to move the "push-funktion" from the old one to the new button.

It's fasten with glue so you can just remove it carefully and move it to the new button.

There really is no shortcut to doing a job right. The best way it to take it apart and replace it.

I believe the best option would be to take it apart and do it. You would probably end up ripping the flex cable if you tried the short way.
