Display & connector damage from nail polish remover?

My daughters phone was subjected to a spill from nail polish remover (acetone) which appeared to affectv the display and may have fused or melted the connecter rendering the phone near useless. Can this be taken apart and parts replaced? Where can instructions be obtained and parts ordered?
