After replacing the right shell it only works wireless

I replaced the right joy-con shell and now it only works in wireless mode and when i attach it it stops. when i remove it it reconnects and works as normal again till i reattach again. already updated switch and joy-con and double checked ribbon cables. another right joy con works normally
