Power Issues ( Not Battery)

Hi - my batter was running down very quickly and chargers I kept buying stopped working. I replaced the battery but the battery is still draining quickly with the new batter, and I’m getting the message ‘service batter’, and also another charger has died. So this isn’t an issue with the battery itself as I replaced it. What could it be? Logic board? I’m going to take it into the apple store this wee but thought I would ask to see if anyone else had the same issue. Thanks

Not good ;-{

This battery is bad!

You need a new one. I would contact the seller of the battery for a warranty replacement.

Your charger is working as wee can see its charging with 17.5 Watts of power.

I would also check your charger as many knockoffs can damage your systems charging logic as well. But that doesn’t look like your issue right now.

Thanks for the reply! I think it may well be the battery being bad but I've replaced it twice in the past few years, and still had the same problem with chargers dying and power being lost quickly. I've only used official mac chargers, never the cheaper ones , which I was aware of the dangers of. I'm taking it down to the Mac store to get it looked it so hope they will be able to confirm the exact problem .Thanks again :)
