Wondering where can I find the Parts Number references for Apple? I have a LM270QQ1_SDC1 panel for my 27-inch 2017 iMac. I need to replace that panel.

Seems like everyone has panels for sale using the same pictures on eBay.

I'd like to find an honest seller who either has an old scavenged panel or overstocked panel.

Much appreciated. I guess I should ask you this question. You’re the expert.

I need to replace the panel to my iMac18,3 it’s an LM270QQ1(SD)(C1) by LG Display. I cracked it.

Question 1: How do I tell if an advertised replacement LCD screen assembly is actually using a Apple approved LCD panel? How will I even know if it’s a 5k?

Question 2: Does it even matter if it is made by AUO and not LG? I assume AUO means AU Optronics of Taiwan*. I found a seller that “looks” more honest and advertises its screen as “Brand: AUO”. Problem here is that I don’t think AUO supplies screens to Apple. I thought only LG Display and Japan Display supplies panels.

It’s really confusing as a lot of sellers on eBay all seem to be using the same picture. Know any reliable panel retailers?

I just don't buy displays off of eBay as you just don't know what you get. These are mostly people who collect things with little knowledge what they have.
