I was taking my brother's dsi apart to figure out why it won't turn on. Took the cables for the power board and the lower screen out.... look and the lock for the lower screen is now missing. Is there anyway I can get a new one or am I doomed?

If you are talking about the silver and black hinge, use this link, I found one pretty cheap to buy.

Naw, it's the tiny little black lock for the lower screen cable. It's the one right about the lower LCD cable. http://guide-images.ifixit.net/igi/GkLxS...
